Sometimes I draw things from my childhood...

"Hiding with Moby"...or..."Mit Moby vrstcken!"

This weekend was one big party here,the streets were full of people,music and voices...
The "Highway to love" moved through the streets, better known as the loveparade:)

Incredibly many people and unfortunately very bad wether.

After a long long day at work, but with a very funny "new" colleague:) Derya and I tried to see something of the parade, but after we saw the people and the big,black clouds(rain!!!) we decided to first eat something and then drive home to my apartement,well better say "go" because driving was nearly impossible,because lot of streets where closed!


Later this day some colleagues from work and I, we went to a club
named "versteck" and unexpected and surprisingly the well known
electro DJ Moby.Normaly electro is not my kind of music but it was very funny and amusing:D we dance and laugh and had fun.... maybe also because of my very nice companions;)

We have to "re..re...redo" (Lukas you know;) ) it!!

Dan Clowes' graphic novel, "Ghost World" tells the story of Enid Coleslaw and her best friend Rebecca during the months between their high school graduation and the following October. The girls curse a lot, obsess over freaks and strange events in their lives and eventually come to realize their childhood friendship may not survive their transition into adulthood.

First I thought that feelings,problems and live of two teenage-girls from a male writers point of view would be unreal, but its told very realistic:)

The story is full of humor and mystery. Enid and Rebecca inhabit a world of strange grafitti, of diners and run-down apartments where things tend to happen just outside the frame, or within windows. And Clowes' two-toned, semi-realistic, sometimes cartoony depiction of the various geeks, pervos and schmoes who inhabit "Ghost World" is dead on... the dopey expressions, the sudden crises, the need to feel something and the fear that accompanies that desire... it's all there in his characters' faces.

2001 ghost world was filmed, I think this is going to be my next DVD;)

The strange think about it is, I don`t have a real opinion on this...on one hand the pictures are diferent from what I normaly like...and the language is kinda rough, and somehow its not my theme.But on the other,it is interessting to see something new and different:)

peach-ginger-pasta

Friday I was invited for a dinner at my friend Basti`s apartment
It was a lot of fun:) We cooked peach-ginger-pasta with mixed salad had a ice-blended-soy-caramel-latte and listened to the "Little Miss Sunshine"-Soundtrack.
The dinner had a very interessting taste...but I remembered that I don`t really like meals with sweet fruits(like hawaii pizza with pineapple)...heheh but good to taste something new:D

We also had fun while cooking...and and unlike the photos suggest:P I also helped;)

Blankets is a autobiographic story about coming of age, alienation, anxiety, pursuit of spiritual identity, teen-angst and of course the first love:)
Craig Thompson, one of my favorite comic-artist, switches between the story of his first love and little stories of his childhood.

It`s one of the loveliest stories I`ve ever read, and one of the beautifullest way to display.



When you first come into physical contact with this book, taking this brick-sized 600 page monster into your hands and cracking open the covers - the heft alone should tell you that this is no ordinary graphic-novel/comic-book. A few pages into this book and you'll immediately be hooked. Your fingers will flip through page after page and before you know it you'll already have consumed several hundred pages.

Oh, and whether you wonder why it`s called "Blankets"...well..in this case, you have to read it;)

fresh self-made cheese al arrabiata and tasty italian red wine

I heared that the supermarked at the west-center is opened till 10pm so I stoped there to buy something for dinner:) but I couldn`t find anything I would like to eat so I just bought wine for 1,60€ :D:D and a paprika:)

At home I made myself some cheese out of "brunch" and a few spices...and voila MY DINNER:)

sooooo yummy...and suprisingly, the wine was very delicious:D but I stoped after one glass, because I have to be fit tomorrow;)

Yesterday, after work, my friend Derya and I went to Bochum.
First we couldn`t deside where to go for a salad, but then we went to one of the restaurant-bistro-bar`s at the "bermuda-dreieck":) named "angel`s"

We ate very yummy salads and had a cocktail.

It was a really great way to end the day!

They fit so perfectly to my yellow wool-bolero-jacket and my little yellow clutch:)

I love to combinate them with a purple satin blouson or a leo-print shirt...:D

It's a year by now, that I live in my cute little rent...so I wanted to share a few corners of it with you:)

BIG bed for BIG dreams...little bed for little dreamer;)

Yesterday during a walk trough the IKEA store I saw a cute little dolly bed named DUKTIG :D and I thought how nice my little kitty would look in it:D



So I bought it and also painted it white...and with a purple pillow it looks so cute:D

Shappy chic for my bedroom

Juhuuu...


I had a great idea!

I`ve bought a UNG DRILL photo frame from IKEA ...normally they`re black, wouldn`t fit to my bedroom..but I painted mine white..just once so it looks "used" and shabby chic.oh I like it so much:D
Then I cut a piece of styrofoam, so that it fits exactly into the frame and covered it with purple silk...it is sooooooo beautiful, I love love love it:D:D


So now I have my very own individual inspiration-board, which I like and which would fit very good to a beautiful mirror I`m going to buy soon:)


It is a nice standing 1,70 m white mirror from IMPRESSIONEN and it would look nice between my wardrobe and bed:)

Oriental Mocca-table

I am thinking about it for a few weeks now... inspired by a oriental shisha-bar... I am going to buy a big oriental tablet !









I would like to place it on a stool or something like that and use it as a coffee-table, I think it would look beautiful..but till now I haven`t found the "right" one;) although I have asked a few of my turkish friends whether they know where I could find them!
I love the mix...of modern and old interiores...




They have one at the IKEA store, but it`s to simple!




I tell you, when I find one!:):)

What a nice sunday...:)
Okay, the wether is gray but we haven`t cared...
Vio and me ,we met today morning to drive to the flea market...and I`ve found two very cute things!

Look at these funky retro cloth hangers:D
I`ve made a rod in a corner of my entré, where my guests and I now can hang the jackets:)
Each for just 50 cent:D:D



I wanted to buy some more, but a lady just picked them up faster!




I`ve also bought a cute box decorated with ornaments for just 30 cent!
















I would say it was a very cheap shopping-trip:D:D

What a pity, that there wasn`t more to buy...but I think I will make these flea market trips regular!

And after a nice but short lunch in a cute little tapas-bar I sold my second Magiker, so that I have my bedroom-space back, now:)
