While cleaning up and trying to organize my office/bedroom, I found these drawings from the,..I think first semester at the Ruhr Akademie! And I thought they would look nice on my kitchen-wall... and guess what, they do:D
So now I go on...who knows what kind of treasures I am going to find next!
Today I finally said goodbye to one of my Magiker wardrobes, I decided to sell them because I thought they where too big for my living room, so today the first new owner picked it up! Now I have more space in my bedroom, where it temporarily stands, until now...
Hope the lady is going to have fun with her new Magiker:)
For me, seeing products IN actual spaces makes me crave them even more, I'll even drop money a lot faster if I like the space it's shown in because it gives me a sense of how it may look in my own home. Even designers and decorators need inspiration you know. ;)These two spaces are amazing, I was excited to see these because the colors would fit so good to my living room and kitchen and I'm thinking now of ordering one of these rugs for my dining area to pull everything together. I love this space, it's a fusion of all the things I love - art, color, space, personality. Nothing about this spaces says "Overly Designed" as much as it says "Welcome". It looks like everything was purchased over time, something I absolutely love! And because I do not have the money at once, so I have to do it:D
Oh and I`m so looking forward to the flea market-trip with Vio next sunday:D:D
I think i unearth a real treasure when I now tell you about the australian artist Fontaine Anderson!I really had to share her impressive work here...Fontaine is a 25-year-old freelance graphic designer and illustrator from Down Under.According to her bio she is, "Inspired by her dreams, Japanese textiles, Egyptian gods, 1980’s clip art, fashion and music." Her inspirations are clearly visible in her work!So feminine and lovely..oh and the colors! I am touched!:D
and a wonderful day to everyone.:D And actualy "wonderful" is the right word... because as a bedding graphic designer and "lover of beautiful things" I created PUREPLE to share my ideas, inspiration, and findings with you!
I imagine PUREPLE as a platform to catalog beautiful and impressiv things to inspire others:)
So please feel free to comment my postings.... I hope you enjoy reading!
